Medal of Honor Airborne is the latest release of the acclaimed Medal of Honor franchise, globally recognized in the genre of first-person shooters based on World War II.
Following the franchise main features (including historical accuracy and veracity), Medal of Honor Airborne is intended to redefine the saga introducing the player to a new first person gaming experience, ultimately, a game experience of total air combat.
You will play the part of Boyd Travers, Private First Class, a paratrooper in the US 82nd Airborne Division, and get involved in battles throughout Europe, from the harsh beginnings in Sicily, northern France, the Netherlands up to Germany. Each mission begins behind the enemy´s lines, with a massive and totally interactive parachute jump. You will be able to visualize the whole operation from the air and control your parachute to choose the best landing area. Once ashore, you will have to use all your senses to analyze the ground. Choose from a wide variety of authentic customizable weapons, each with different characteristics. Choose your way and move freely around this amazing FPS.
The control of Medal of Honor: Airborne is similar to any action game, but you'll have some pieces of news regarding weapons, because the more you use them, the more experience you will gain with them, and this will give you access to new options.
Finally, we must emphasize that the technical section of the game is very spectacular in the effects section, which is extremely realistic. For example, when you fire the Thompson, you will get a flash of fire which will even make you miss the perspective momentarily. The sound also deserves a mention, since it is composed of very good special effects and an impressive soundtrack.
